Páramo de Guatanfur
In the central area of the páramo (alpine tundra) there is an extensive wetland densely populated by big frailejones (type of Espeletia) and puyas where the Río Guatanfur is born.
The extensive valley is surrounded by rocky peaks and natural buttresses that serve as a natural barrier to protect a beautiful cloud forest still inhabited by the spectacled bear. This is one of those places that have remained almost still in time and represent the most beautiful aspects of the Colombian mountains.
The cost includes transportation and tour guide: Each hiker must bring their lunch and hydration.
